The Color of the Season: Bordeaux

Exuding class and elevated festive vibes, a deep bordeaux red is the hue taking center stage this season.

One of my favorite things about fashion this time of year is the rich jewel tones that inevitably appear in the holiday collections. And this year is no exception, most especially the rich Bordeaux color, also known as “ox blood”, “wine”, “ burgundy”, or “maroon”. This rich tone was seen all over the fashion runways for Fall / Winter 2024. It is a luxe and sophisticated take on “holiday red”. Adding a piece to your closet in this universally flattering color will make your wardrobe feel instantly updated. 

Pairs best with a glass of French red wine from… Bordeaux, of course. Cheers!
